Calvary’s Light began in 1999 when four young men with a love for Jesus Christ and a passion for music began singing together in their local church men’s chorus.  They initially started practicing as a quartet to help the rest of the chorus learn the parts.  They were soon impressed that God was asking them to dedicate and commit their lives to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ through music as a quartet.

The name “Calvary’s Light” was chosen to reflect the sacrifice that Jesus Christ made at Calvary, dying on the cross for our sins, and rising on the third day, giving everyone who believes the gift of eternal life.  We sing songs from the heart, songs that minister to us and enhance our relationship with God.  As King David says in Psalms 104:33, “I will sing to the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live,” we plan to keep singing about the unconditional love of God, the peace that we can only find in having a relationship with Jesus, and the hope we have in spending eternal life with Him.
